Présidentielle au Brésil : Flavio Bolsonaro obtient le soutien des petits candidats

Arrivé en tête du premier tour de la présidentielle au Brésil avec 47 % des voix contre 45 % pour Lula, Flavio Bolsonaro a reçu le soutien de trois anciens rivaux, Augusto Cury, Ronaldo Caiado et Romeu Zema, qui pèsent ensemble plus de 5 % des suffrages. Le second tour aura lieu le 25 octobre.

Comment calmer la colère des lycéens ?

Aujourd'hui, les manifestations lycéennes se sont poursuivies partout en France, notamment à Rennes, Nantes, Lille, Paris, Marseille, Créteil et dans bien d’autres villes. Au total, plus de 150 établissements étaient fermés jeudi, soit moins que les jours précédents. La réponse politique de Sébastien Lecornu, mercredi soir, n’a pas suffi. L’intersyndicale étudiante et professionnelle appelle à une nouvelle journée d’action et de grève mardi 13 octobre.

More fool me! Here I was thinking nothing that America’s Trump administration could do or say, no matter how politically and morally bankrupt, no matter how venal or violent, was capable of shocking me any longer.

Then I woke to today’s news that one of the Trump cabinet’s bigger boofheads – the uber Christian nationalist, crusader-fantasist and “secretary of war” Pete Hegseth had announced that America would have a public firing squad execution of murderer Nidal Hasan.

Le parti de Maria Corina Machado demande la levée "immédiate" de son inéligibilité au Venezuela

Une ancienne magistrate de la Cour suprême du Venezuela a affirmé jeudi avoir été forcée de signer le document déclarant l'opposante Maria Corina Machado inéligible au scrutin présidentiel de 2024. Le parti de cette dernière réclame une enquête urgente et la levée "immédiate" de son inéligibilité.
