The three teenage boys estimated their hike time would be over five hours on a rugged trail in British Columbia, Canada. A helicopter crew had to retrieve them.
The man had been traveling the Continental Divide Trail, which goes through five states and is described by a hiking group as one of the “most challenging landscapes in North America.”
The signs appeared last month on a stretch of Tennessee State Route 386 north of Nashville that was designated Vietnam Veterans Boulevard nearly four decades ago.
The elite flying team had announced a safety review after videos posted on social media showed a fighter jet passing just above beachgoers on Wednesday.
