The geometric earthwork structures, carved into the ground with embankments and ditches, are in some cases more than 2,500 years old, researchers said.

By collecting about 1,000 fragments and painstakingly assembling the pieces, archaeologists restored a scene depicting the popular love story of Dionysus and Ariadne.
