A 10-year-old Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua mix, Luna lost half her weight but was otherwise healthy after several weeks in Yellowstone National Park.
Hopes that Luna was alive stayed high because there were reported sightings almost every day, from volunteer searchers, visitors and staff members at Yellowstone National Park.
