A woman in California will face 36 years to life in prison after previously serving time for a stabbing death in 2000.

The city’s Fire Department said it received a call just after 4 a.m. on Wednesday reporting that a person was stuck in the vehicle after it collected trash from a dumpster.

The bipartisan bill, backed by Mr. Leno, the comedian and car collector, would exempt some older vehicles from having to meet California’s stringent emissions rules.
