The man accused of setting the blaze that later turned deadly in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood is now readying for a new prosecution after a previous effort in June failed.
Residents are still displaced more than a year and a half after the fire killed 12 people and destroyed thousands of homes in the wealthy Pacific Palisades section.
