The remnants of a charred vehicle after more than 20 people were killed by armed gangs last week in Kescoff, a neighborhood near Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
Gangs targeted a key community on the outskirts of the capital, raising fears about the gangs’ next move. The mayor said at least 25 people had been killed, but the U.N. put the death toll at 47.
