President Trump’s remarks raised questions about his knowledge of the crimes committed by Jeffrey Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell, the family said in a statement.
President Trump acknowledged that Jeffrey Epstein recruited one of his victims, Virginia Giuffre, from Mar-a-Lago, and distanced himself from the allegations: “By the way, she had no complaints about us.”
Donald Trump was friendly for at least 15 years with Jeffrey Epstein, the multimillionaire financier and convicted sex offender who died in prison in 2019.
