Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is pitching a plan to cut federal taxes on diesel fuel and help ensure Canada has affordable supplies of the fuel in the future. Poilievre outlined his party's plan at a suburban Ottawa gas station.

Several seniors were arrested and charged with trespassing on Parliament Hill as they called for stronger government action to address climate change.
