“You go wherever there might be voters,” said Tom Begich, a Democrat and one of the 17 candidates running for governor in Alaska and hustling for votes.
Former Representative Mary Peltola of Alaska did not appear to be happy that former Vice President Kamala Harris put out a fund-raising appeal on her behalf. Ms. Harris lost the 2024 presidential election in Alaska by 14 points.
